Chopin even completed his 23 preludes, a set of 10 preludes for solo piano, in all of the major and minor keys.
FredericChopin and his 6 years older love George Sand (pen name for Amantine Dupin) spent the winter 1838-39 on Mallorca, mostly at a quite comfortable three room cell with private garden in the former charterhouse of the Carthusians. After the forced governemental closure of the monastery in 1835 the cells got rented out to guests.
